FAQ: PlutusLite
.png)
Plutus Lite is a lightweight, demo-style version of the Plutus app, available on both web and mobile. At present, all customers affected by Modulr suspensions are placed into Lite Mode, as are new sign-ups. Existing customers will be changed to PlutusLite should there be any downtime during the transition to our new Banking-as-a-Service provider.
While Lite Mode uses the same interface as the full app, some features are currently unavailable and will redirect to an upgrade page if you currently do not have a subscription. If you do have a subscription at present, do not concern yourself with the upgrade button. An update is being pushed to improve clarity. Upgrading to a full card account is temporarily unavailable until the transition to our new banking partner completes.
In Lite Mode, you can:
- Connect a wallet for PLUS stacking
- Earn CRY rewards via the Rewards Level page
- Redeem PLUS at select utilities*
The following features are currently unavailable:
- Perks
- Cards
- Top-ups
- New Subscriptions
*Access to utilities on PlutusLite is currently limited but Lite customers will gain access gradually over the coming weeks, with PlutusTravel currently already made available.
FAQs
How will I access rewards when the current card service ends?
If there is any temporary downtime relating to Plutus cards during our partner migration in Q1, PlutusLite will receive an update (date TBA), allowing customers to continue using their own personal cards to access rewards, subscriptions, and all loyalty benefits. Any bonus limits or reward level credits (example Double Rewards) for stackers will be preserved for later use in case of any temporary downtime to your card. We will share a clear phased timeline once development dates are confirmed.
How will PLUS Points and CRY Rewards continue to be available?
We want to reassure you that CRY Rewards and PLUS Points will continue to operate as normal as part of our in-app loyalty programme. These rewards remain strictly non-financial utility points that can be used within the Plutus app (e.g. for cashback on travel and other in-app benefits). They are not crypto-assets, are not tradable, and do not represent any form of financial return.
